Ezviz | HB8 - Battery-Powered Motorized Camera
Ezviz - HB8 is a fully wireless battery-powered motorized camera that provides complete surveillance and easy installation. It is the first motorized security pan-tilt Wi-Fi camera powered by a battery from Ezviz. Thanks to its battery with an exceptional lifespan of 210 days, the EZVIZ - HB8 revolutionizes and simplifies the installation process for outdoor cameras, providing the same performance as its wired counterparts. This battery-powered motorized camera ensures 360° surveillance, capturing incredibly clear and detailed images in all directions (340° horizontally and 65° vertically), thanks to its impressive 4 MP resolution.
It can store up to 32 GB of data locally (stores 10-minute recordings per day for up to 6 months), and it supports Ezviz cloudPlay (to store your important moments online) for additional storage space. Thanks to the solar power option with the Ezviz | CS-CMT - Solar Panel, the HB8 camera performs even better. On the bottom, in addition to the power button, there is a Micro USB port necessary for both connecting to the solar panel and an external 5V charger (not included).

Unlimited Installation Options
The HB8 camera features a larger battery capacity compared to all other Ezviz outdoor motorized security cameras. Unlike wired cameras, which are limited by the power source's position, this wireless motorized camera offers unlimited placement options. The system can be installed wherever you prefer, ensuring the best angles. The horizontal and vertical rotation functions, combined with the 2K resolution, provide a full view with incredibly sharp details.

Clear Vision Even at Night
Thanks to two integrated spotlights, the camera is capable of producing clear color images even in complete darkness. This allows you to see important details that would otherwise be missed. Additionally, the camera features active defense technology to provide an extra level of protection. With this technology, when the camera detects suspicious movement, it activates a loud siren and two flashing spotlights to scare off the intruder.

One App and One Windows Application
All Ezviz products can be viewed, configured, and managed through the dedicated app, completely free, available for iOS and Android. By installing the Ezviz app on your Smartphone, simply scan the QR code to be online immediately. If you want to view the recordings from your camera on PC (for Windows only), scan the specific QR code.

Battery-powered cameras offer different durations depending on the model, but in general there are some precautions that can be taken to improve battery life. The batteries present in Ezviz products are lithium batteries, therefore we recommend that for a longer overall lifespan, you maintain their state of charge between 50% and 80%, it is known to be the ideal % of charge that allows the lithium batteries last longer, offering greater performance.
Furthermore, by intervening on the sensitivity and frequency of detection, it will be possible to remodulate the notifications and therefore the activities that the cameras will have to monitor and notify you.
Some routers can lead to higher battery consumption, this depends on the technology of the router or the power with which the signal arrives, the better the reception, the lower the consumption.
Some cameras, in addition to allowing direct connection to Wi-Fi, offer the possibility of using a Hub or Gateway for data communication, this usually has lower energy consumption than a direct data connection.
For compatible models, we recommend that you consider installing a dedicated Ezviz solar panel, which will allow the battery to be recharged daily using solar energy.
